A Coast-to-Coast Rodeo Roundup

#1 Cheyenne Frontier Days – Wyoming

Known as “The Daddy of ’Em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days began in 1897 and remains the world’s largest outdoor Rodeo. Riders still charge through the original dirt arena as over 250,000 visitors celebrate each July.

#2 National Finals Rodeo – Las Vegas, Nevada

The Super Bowl of Rodeo! Every December, Las Vegas hosts the top 15 competitors in each event. It’s gold buckles, bright lights, and cowboy grit — only Vegas could make Rodeo feel like a rock concert.

#3 National Western Stock Show & Rodeo – Denver, Colorado

Since 1906, Denver’s Stock Show has blended Rodeo excitement with agricultural pride. Families return year after year for broncs, livestock, and the rich western heritage of the Rocky Mountains.

#4 Ellensburg Rodeo – Washington

Founded in 1923 by local ranchers, Ellensburg is one of the top‑ten pro Rodeos in the U.S. Its small‑town charm and horse‑filled Sunday parade make it a fan favorite across the Northwest.

#5 Weekley Brothers Davie Pro Rodeo – Florida

Florida’s biggest Rodeo proves the West rides east, too. Under palm trees and sunshine, the Davie Pro Rodeo brings classic broncs and bulls with a unique South Florida flair.

#6 Pendleton Round‑Up – Oregon

“Let ’er Buck!” has echoed through Pendleton since 1910. With a grass arena and deep Native American and cowboy roots, it remains one of the most historic and beloved Rodeos in America.

#7 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo – Texas

Everything’s bigger in Texas — and Houston’s Rodeo proves it. Drawing over 2 million fans yearly, it’s equal parts competition, fair, and star‑studded concert event.

#8 Greeley Stampede – Colorado

Dating back to 1879, Greeley’s 4th of July Stampede combines rodeo, fireworks, and parades into a western style patriotic celebration.

#9 Prescott Frontier Days – Arizona

Billed as the World’s Oldest Rodeo since 1888, Prescott’s event has kept the cowboy tradition alive for more than 130 years beneath the Arizona sun.

#10 Reno Rodeo – Nevada

Called the “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West,” Reno blends top‑tier competition with a carnival atmosphere — where western tradition meets neon nightlife.

#11 Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo – Vernal, Utah

Vernal’s Rodeo has thrilled fans since 1932, blending small‑town pride with big‑time competition. Set against Utah’s red‑rock country, it’s where tradition, family, and frontier fun come together.

#12 Sisters Rodeo – Oregon

Known as “The Biggest Little Show in the World,” Sisters offers a mountain backdrop, community pride, and authentic small‑town rodeo spirit every June.
