Yosemite National Park, California

Yosemite, located in Northern California, reaches across the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain chain. It is internationally recognized for its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams and giant sequoia groves. Almost 95% of the area is designated wilderness.
