Galveston, Texas

Located on the southeast edge of Texas, Galveston is located on an island bordering the Gulf of Mexico and is known for it's tourism, shipping, and financial industries. Galveston is a resilient city which had to rebuild itself in the early 20th century after the United States' most deadly hurricane. Eric has captured the fun and livelihood of this port city in this painting with the Historic Pleasure Pier in the foreground and some of the beautiful historical architecture Galveston is known for in the background.
