University of Arkansas Razorbacks

If you can hear the "Woo, Pig! Sooie!" you know you're at the Arkansas Razorback stadium. But the Razorbacks didn't have Tusk the Hog as their mascot until 1910. In 1909. the football team finished a 7-0 season, allowing only 18 points on the defense and scoring 186 points on the offense. Hugo Bezek, a College Football Hall of Fame coach, proclaimed in his team played "like a wild band of razorback hogs." The name proved so popular that it was changed!
